Teaching Assistant: One to One Support
Teaching Assistant level 2
Grade 3, Point 12-16 (£15,039 – £16,440 pro rata)
20 hours per week, term time only
2 Year Fixed Term Contract, to start September 2010

The governors are seeking to appoint TA2 for to provide one to one support to a child with complex needs in Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate must have:
- the ability to work within a large Key Stage Two team
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
We are looking for a candidate with the skills and experience of working with children to:
- Improve literacy and numeracy skills
- Develop children’s expressive and receptive language skills
- Improve children’s confidence and self esteem
- Develop children’s motor and sensory skills

Early Years Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant level 2
Grade 3, Point 12-16 (£15,039 – £16,440 pro rata)
32.5 hours per week, term time only
To start September 2010 (pending CRB clearance)

- The governors are seeking to appoint a teaching assisant for Early Years. The successful candidate must meet the criteria of working in an Early Years environment and demonstrate the ability to work within a large foundation stage team. They must have experience in Foundation Stage or Year One and demonstrate knowledge of records of achievement transferable to profiles. Duties include supporting the class teacher and delivering phonics, literacy and numeracy with a large group.
